helbm3, he can't see what he's doing. He's not lying to us, he's lying to himself to maintain the illusion his ego has built to keep him feeling safe.It reminds me of a theory I read about "witnessing" (the act of going around trying to spread your religious views). Witnessing isn't actually required by religions so that you can spread the religion, it's required because it reinforces the tribal bond within the Church. You are told that everyone not in the Church is a heathen, and your job is to go try to save them. You go and get rejected over and over again, and that just reinforces that these people are lost and that your Church is the only safe place for you and your views (which are actually not your views, they're views you've been programmed to accept by the Church). Same thing with all the QAnon people - they act like they're trying to help share truth. But when they find out that the person that started it all was a con artist, they ignore that because they've formed such a tribal bond over the shared experience of having the rest of the world tell them they're all insane. It's like the Flat Earth people. Check out "Behind the Curve" on Netflix - it's a fascinating documentary on the Flat Earth movement. The Flat Earth people put together a few very clever scientific experiments and say, "If the results are X, that means the Earth is round. So we will not get X as a result." Then they get X as a result and just say, "Well, we must've done the experiment wrong..." The whole documentary illustrates that these people aren't stupid, they're just outcasts who have formed a tribal bond over a shared fringe belief, and they're willing to disregard any and all evidence suggesting that their worldview may be incorrect. Because to accept that their worldview is wrong would mark them as outcasts in the tribe they've finally found acceptance in. ---Pez

Yeah, that is very true. It is something I have seen from him for a very long time. The way he lashes out is even more evidence of it. The church example couldn't be a better one. The part that really gets to me though is where he does in fact lie. Look at the posts where he messed up the word "narcissist" and "narcissistic". Instead of just being able to admit that he was wrong. That he made a simple mistake and had a flaw. He lashed out even more. He then tried to cover it up by telling a foolish lie. That the mistake was because he was busy. Yet he made the same mistake in multiple posts over the course of many hours. He also edited at least one of the posts. Which means while editing he did not catch the error that was in it multiple times. This lie is so basic and so stupid that you have to look into the deeper meaning of why he feels the need to never be wrong. This goes above all the connections. This obsessive need to always be right, as you said comes from his ego. But when you tie that in with how he tries to belittle and berate anyone that doesn't agree with him, you see that he has a much deeper illness. this illness is the point at witch he is willing to lie. This is where things start to get dangerous. Those traits I have seen in a few specific types of patients. He shares a lot of their traits. Matched with a time line of being the same for 21+ years. It is safe to assume that he has a strong mental illness, he just doesn't see it.

You haven't changed one bit. You made assertions 10+ years ago that never came to pass or came to light as truth, and you are repeating the same patterns today. Good luck out there, MoD. ---Pez

Dude. I posted the proof in pic form twice. TWICE LOONEY TUNES. You listened to a recording. I posted a pic. My proof trumps your 2016 talking points long debunked. Did you look at the picture?

See how he ignored absolutely everything about his mental health? Something that multiple people have seen a problem with including a professional. He is incapable of admitting any fault at all. As if he is somehow above being human. You and I as normal healthy adults have no problem admitting that we have faults. That is the sign of a healthy mind. The fact that he could ignore everything you said that was very important to both his mental health and the conversation and only respond to one very small section of what you said proves your point entirely. The church! He can't help it. He has to keep addressing it and ignoring everything else.

Typically engaging in his delusions will only make him worse. Similar to schizophrenia or any other trait that suffers hyper delusions. At his advanced age it might be unrecoverable. Unless he is willing to see just how far gone and bad off he really is. But, even then the neuro-webbing collection would be heavy reinforced and hard to overcome.

What's so dangerous about having a mental illness? Assuming one isn't going out and hurting others because of it?
