So what is worse? the INTENT to setup a country to kill or to just guns blazing when you are pissed off?I personally think someone who sets up a country with the intent to kill whoever (random) they think looks like fun. I consider this suiciding. However, a country setup to !@$# someone specific over, maybe due to past reset or something, maybe that is moreso war??? These two examples may look like exactly the same country, however their purpose is totally different.

Someone who is landfat, maybe so because they are growing so fast, therefor having a good set. I would think people get more pissed off waking up to a dead country just cuse they were a little landfat and having a great set...(thats why thread came about) I guess another thing to consider is what is the difference between suiciding and war with reference to ruined gameplay? eg. A team/group warring another team/group over a previous set issue and a team/group set up to war whoever for whatever reasons. Which one is ruined gameplay? Then there is the side that Ivillios mentioned, prepped vs unprepped....

i think ruining someones fininish is suiciding
if you do it in a war setting when you are a member of a group or team and take on a whole group/team then that is ok
but if you single out one person
or if only one or two members of the group/team do the fubaring/killing then that should lead to a warning/suspendalso threats made should be a warning
ie when you threaten to kill or fubar a person in future sets or other servers other than that this is a war game bewildered but amused

What is everyone scared to say anything about these guys or what? if you seriously don't give a !@$# about suiciding then post here... post something like, "read it but couldn't give a flying !@$#" that way I will know you read it. This is only going to continue set after set TEQ3 is not gonna make a difference either so I don't think relying on that will stop anything..... I'm just waiting to follow the wisdom of people like Rip and Del who have been around for ages. Anything I suggest would probably only encompass what I have experienced as a player. I think the key to this is old people like them who have seen how this whole thing developed.

It depends really. People with policies saying they will kill over 1 grab, is not a suicide or even warrenting of a warning in my opinion. This is because the offending group had a clear oppertunity to avoid the incident. Nor is suiciding if you keep the country and intend to try and fight for a few days. What does warrent a warning is (like bl did this set, only used this for a current example) is when you hit someone, and then delete or restart your account.
My opinion though.

I honestly think that if the person sits and attacks, but doesnt restart, just accpets being killed, then I dont believe they should be suspended, thats just me, but its how I feel. What bl did was wrong, he unloaded on mun then ran like a little !@$# and restarted, thinking he was hot !@$#, where if he would've sat there and let me !@$# up his day like a man, then I wouldnt have a problem. Again, this is just how I feel I am Peck's pet noob

ok i dont say much about the game play here but if there is something that needs addressing in my opine it the cheaters, i got killed last night in fight by someone i should of killed but dident so i dident "ruin his or hers game " well got up this morning and i was dead, hit by two ppl back to back, i cant prove it but i know i was teamed,.... when i come back out of neutral i`m gonna have me 250 missels and i`m gonna put em on a 40 hour po and every turn till then is gonna be occupied with sending them more missels, i know i cant win but i`m gonna do everything in my power to screw them over, i dont cheat , never have, never will, i have much more respect for myself than that, you wanna call that suiciding, fine, i call it paybacks!
RULES, they are made to be broken around here from what i can tell, you offer retals for unintenional mistakes and , then the other team dosent take them but decides at the end of the set to kill you for their fantasized reasons that they just dreamed up to satisifey themselves, i guess thats why i like ]tc[ because i can honestly say we dont provoke or get into unprovoked wars for bullsh!t reasons, call it good leadership i would say!
people who cheat ruin it for everyone else, they should be permanetly banned but half of teq would be gone then, just grow up and play as you would wanna be played and this community will grow againcant you hear that alarm, wake up and got to work

jd i have nothing against what your talking about, but i do have something against messing up somebody's country then restarting. If he would've sat there and let us kill him, i dont think there would be much of a problem. the thing is he fired at mun, then ran and hid. i see this as a fine line between getting even and being a sore loser. i respect what your doing in fs, your not going to sit there, attack, then kill yourself, your goin to missle the crap out of them and keep doing it till your dead again, correct? thats not cheating, thats truely getting back at somebody and i tip my hat to you bro, ppl should take you up as a prime example as how to TRUELY get even.I am Peck's pet noob
